cleveland. will carry perhaps the core of columbus and will carry cincinnati. you have to look at the exurbs to see what happens there. these are places the republican can be counted on to get 60 to 70% of the vote. does the democrat cut into that margin by two or three or four points or not? or use the urban vote come up, city core vote come up three or four points to outweigh that. a couple of places to look interesting. if you go to ohio's earn border, you're talking coal country. as you know governor romney really pushed the coal issue pretty hard. we're talking about some issues like jefferson county ohio, which is where steubenville is, obama won that race by 76 votes i believe last time. watch for that to see if it flips back. i suspect it will go over into the red column or the other end of the state, go to defiance. defiance is republican country. there is general motors plant there though. will the auto bailout pay off there? remember defiance is where governor romney first made his comments about jeep jobs going to china. jon: ohio could be a long night there. what about new hamps

of the badgering done in person or over the air waves impacted early voting. here in columbus, the line stretched out of the door and in the parking lot and people waited in line for two hours to cast a ballot. some of the churches loaded up people on buss and drove them to early voting location. and spokesman said this is resulting in a big surge for president obama. and that is why they fought so hard to keep early voting open in the final weekend leading up to the election here in ohio. associated press reported republicans and democrats, democrats lead by six percent. we can show you video of the absentee ballots and republican response to that. spokesman said they anticipated all along that democrats would lead with early voting, however, the lead is not significant as it was in the last election. they say viewer democrats showed up for early vote more republicans showed up. both sides are predicting a narrow margin of victory and lawyered up have observers here in the polling locations. and every vote counts and every vote will be scrutinized. >> steve: thank you for the live report. everyb

every one, the latest came out this morning in the columbus dispatch. one thing that is clear, we have a very, very large lead among voters who have voted early. we are going to go into election day with a significant lead. and so, you know, we -- they can spin it any way they want. i am looking at cold, hard data, who is showing up, who is casting ballots and in states like ohio, iowa, nevada, florida, we are doing very, very well. what they are doing is comparing this to 2008 and you and i have thish this discussion, i am not suggesting we will win by the same margin of 2008. they are comparing themselves to john mccain with no ground operation in many of these states. so they will do better than mechanic cane did. we may not do as well as we did in 2008, but we are doing well enough to win this race. >> chris: in florida, where president obama is down by more than a point in the polls. and yet, you are advertising by the campaign there, in florida. why not in the state you must win? >> first of all, we feel very competitive in the state of florida. there have been a spate of polls i

means the results are in from those individual counties. columbus with ohio state, obama has taken that county, and then there was also hamilton county pommel which is the cincinnati area. very high poverty rates. they were hoping that mitt romney would pull that off, the president obama has taken hamilton county. he won that last year. giving him a huge boost in the election for the first time that a democrat had taken that county. neil: are you saying that he one hamilton county tonight? neil: that could get him ohio. sanda: is a big sign. those two counties could get him ohio. half the reason romney was there tonight -- that pay off? effects not exactly sure what is happening with our map right now. as we look at the surrounding counties, it is blue, indeed. president obama has taken some key areas. we are looking at the new gz area there. we are seeing some of those crucial counties won by president obama. imagine that the philadelphia area, the suburbs surrounding the philadelphia area were key. we have seen president obama pull that off. but the state has not yet gone back to
